Brothers on the Pitch
Where Brotherhood Meets Football
Brothers on the Pitch is a flagship initiative of Rare-Breed Men Tribe (SCIO), created to promote men’s mental well-being, tackle isolation, and strengthen community bonds through the power of football.
We know that many men, especially within African and Caribbean communities, often face silent battles such as stress, loneliness, and cultural disconnection. Too often, these struggles remain hidden. Brothers on the Pitch provides a safe, supportive, and energising space where men can come together, play the game they love, and build meaningful relationships both on and off the field.

Our Objectives
⚽ Mental Wellbeing: Use football as a tool to release stress, encourage physical activity, and create safe conversations around mental health.
🤝 Brotherhood: Foster friendships, peer support, and trust among men who may otherwise feel isolated.
🌍 Community Integration: Bridge cultural gaps by creating inclusive spaces where African, Caribbean, and wider communities can connect.
💡 Personal Growth: Equip men with confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills that extend beyond the pitch into family and professional life.

Build Connections
How we Play
Empower the Community
Many men struggle silently with isolation or disconnection in a new environment.
Brothers on the Pitch uses the universal joy of football to open doors for conversations, friendships, and healing.
It’s not just about the goals we score; it’s about the lives we impact and the bonds we build.
Vision
Our vision is clear: to build a Scotland where men do not suffer in silence but instead find strength, brotherhood, and wellbeing through shared experiences. On the pitch, we build teams. Off the pitch, we build lives.
