Who we are
Creating Space for Black Families to Thrive & Bond
We are a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SC051792), founded and led by African and Black men, for African and Black Families. We are based in Scotland and we exist wherever our brothers are — in Armadale, Edinburgh, Dundee, Glasgow, and beyond. We were not built to manage the problems of our community from the outside. We were built from the inside — by African Families who understand the specific weight of building a life in Scotland while holding the full dignity of an African identity. Our work is guided by the Ubuntu philosophy: I am because you are. When one of us grows, all of us grow.

Life in Scotland holds real opportunity — and real challenges. The loneliness of starting again. The cultural distance. The silent pressures that African and Black Families rarely speak about, because there has been no safe space to speak. Rare-Breed Men Tribe was built to change that. Not as a service, but as a community. Not a safety net, but a launching pad. A place where men bring their full selves and find brothers who understand.

Our mission is to cultivate a supportive environment where every African is equipped and inspired to realise the unique purpose, uphold emotional well-being, and contribute constructively to our multicultural community in Scotland.
